The Compositions

These compositions were shaped and influenced by blues, heavy metal, and classical music.
Starosta draws from the rich tones and simplistic characteristics of early American blues and the industrial timbres and tribal rhythms of heavy metal music. These roots give the work gravity and realism.
Combining facets of these genres with the artistry of classical music and the tools taken from serial and twelve tone techniques has allowed Starosta to develop a voice that is unique in modern expression.
